Matthias Lehmann is a German researcher at the Faculty of Law at Queens University Belfast (QUB) and a member of the International Committee on the Rights of Sex Workers in Europe (ICRSE). He graduated with a B.A. in Korean Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London) and an M.A. in International Relations at the Graduate Institute of Peace Studies (GIP, Kyung Hee University, South Korea).

His prior research focused on human trafficking prevention in Thailand and human rights violations against sex workers in South Korea. More details about his doctoral research project into sex work regulation in Germany coming soon.
